Synod 2020 of the PRCA notes make mention of the following statement, “there is an activity of the believer that is prior to the experience of a particular blessing from God” and continues to explain such statement saying positively that, “scripture and confessions clearly teach that God graciously rewards the good works of believers, even in this life” (Acts of Synod 2020 pp. 75,85).
