Pastor Joshua Engelsma examines a doctrinal case adjudicated by Synod 2024 concerning statements about good works, their necessity for salvation, and their relationship to the experience of salvation. This article addresses a significant dispute within the PRC about the proper understanding of justification and sanctification, and how the church should respond to theological error through its disciplinary processes.
