August 1 Read Romans 7:1-11; Canons of Dordt 3 & 4:5 Here in this article we see that the Ten Commandments are not the way to salvation. However, their work is important. They show to us our sin, and as Scripture states, they lead us to Christ. Our obedience to the law will not give to us salvation.
