Dr. Kuyper's teaching on this subject is, so I wrote, decidedly unscriptural. Kuyper's contention that Holy Writ teaches a "reward of grace" is, as shown, entirely correct. But his conception of what constitutes this reward is thoroughly Romish. This conception is found in that well-known work of his, entitled "E. Voto.
