The Christian and the Truth

Truth is an essential attribute of God. It is an aspect or facet of the divine nature. God is the God of truth. Deut. 32:4. The name “God of truth’’ expresses ownership or the possession of a possessor, as in “Lord of heaven and earth’’ (Matt. 11:25). See also Gen. 14:19, 22. God possesses all truth.
