We are justified in stating that there is such a thing in the history of Christian doctrine as Augustinian predestination. Just as well as the view of Pelagius on pre­destination found some followers in the Christian Church, so also Augustine's view of predestination found a suffi­cient number of followers to justify our calling that view: Augustinian Predestination.
