To Teach Them War (4) Knowing War’s Origin: In God
This article traces the origin of warfare and Christian spiritual conflict back to God's eternal nature and sovereign providence, arguing that a proper theological understanding of war must begin with the triune God rather than historical or human explanations. Huizinga establishes that all warfare, including the Christian's spiritual warfare, belongs to the comprehensive category of "all things" governed by God's sovereign providence as expressed in Romans 11:36.
