On December 15 at 10 a. m. in front of the Commons Building at the Franklin campus of Calvin College, some 150 students attended a protest demonstration, which the undersigned was fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to observe. The issue was the banning of Negro comedian Dick Gregory from the campus by the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees.
