Being Content with What You Have
Contentment is the gift of God's grace whereby we submit to and delight in God's will for us. It is to accept joyfully God's way with us. In His Word, God commands us to be content with what we have. Hebrews 13:5 says, "Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." The apostle Paul reminds us of our calling to be content in I Timothy 6:6: "But godliness with contentment is great gain."...
