Rev. Angus Stewart defends the amillennial eschatology of the early church fathers and the Reformation against postmillennialism, grounding his argument in historical church tradition and Reformed confessional documents such as the Second Helvetic Confession. The article demonstrates that amillennialism has been the dominant eschatological position throughout Christian history and was affirmed by all the major Reformers and their confessions. This resource provides both historical perspective and theological argumentation for the amillennial position within Protestant Reformed thought.
