Rev. Cornelius Hanko expounds Romans 8:1-3 to explain how believers, despite the continued presence of sin in their flesh, experience freedom from condemnation through Christ's work and the Holy Spirit's power. The sermon traces the believer's paradoxical experience of hating sin while still committing it, and shows how God's sovereign grace in Christ resolves this tension through justification and the progressive work of sanctification.
