Rev. Angus Stewart critiques the 2017 joint Lutheran-Catholic commemoration of the Reformation's 500th anniversary, arguing that modern Lutheranism has departed from its confessional roots on justification by faith alone while Rome remains unreformed in its false doctrines. Stewart contrasts the biblical gospel of the Reformation with contemporary ecumenical compromises and the persistent errors of Roman Catholicism that Luther opposed.
