The Lord Is Risen Indeed

"The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon." Luke 24:34 This exclamation of joy was made by Jesus' disciples sometime in the evening of Resurrection Sunday. The simple and powerful way in which these words are presented indicates that Jesus' followers were rising out of the grief they had experienced the previous two days.
