To the Editor

I appreciate the time and effort that individuals spent in not only reading my article (“Standin’ in the Need of Prayer,” October, 2006 issue), but also in contemplating and responding to it. In response to Carmen Griess’ letter in particular (November, 2006 issue), I feel the necessity to address the valid concerns made by the writer, and to also clarify the original intentions of the first article. First off, the letter stated that “…the writer wants practical instruction from our pastors.”...
