In our study of Repentance-Preaching in Holy Writ we have thus far seen, that repentance preaching is primarily an act of God. It is His work, and His work alone. As a work of God it is performed in and through Christ Jesus our Lord. Through Immanuel, the Word Incarnate, God preaches repentance. He never preaches repentance apart from Him.
