Synod 2014: The PRC Working Together
Barry Gritters reflects on the 2014 PRCA Synod as the visible manifestation of the churches' unity and federation working together as one body in Christ. The article defends the Reformed Presbyterian polity of synodical government against both those who would abuse synodal authority and those who have rejected synods altogether in favor of pure congregational independence. This piece articulates the PRC's understanding of how local autonomy and denominational unity properly coexist through the synodical assembly.
