Who Am I

(1.) Your first impression of me must be that I am a tall, broad-shouldered individual. As you learn to know me better you soon realize that I am sedate and modest of disposition, studious and conscientious in my work. (2.) My birthplace was in the Netherlands. The date, January 22, 1904. It was four years later, in 1908, that I first set foot on American soil.
