Ecclesiastical self-examination in the PRCA (1)
Barry Gritters examines the Reformed principle of Semper Reformanda ("Reformed and always being re-formed") and its application to ecclesiastical self-examination within the PRCA. Drawing parallels to personal spiritual self-appraisal practiced before the Lord's Supper, he explores how churches must continuously examine themselves against Scripture and implement necessary corrections. This article discusses the theology and practice of institutional self-evaluation as a faithful expression of the Reformation heritage.
