Avoid It, Pass Not By It, Turn From It, And Pass Away (1)
In Proverbs 4:14-19 we have recorded for us a very distinct description of the antithetical walk of the child of God. The believer, whether young or old, walks a path in the midst of this world that is contrary to the path of the wicked. The believer walks that path despite the opposition of ungodly men, the forces of darkness, and his own evil nature. That path he walks “is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” (vs. 18). There are two “ways” or “paths”...
