Engelsma critiques dispensational premillennialism's interpretation of Daniel 9:24-27 (the seventy weeks prophecy), arguing that premillennialists violate their own hermeneutical principles by interpreting weeks as years rather than days and by excluding the church from Old Testament prophecy. This article defends a Reformed covenantal understanding of Daniel's prophecy against what the author sees as fundamental exegetical errors in premillennial doctrine.
