Having looked at Martin Bucer’s history in our first article, how should we remember Martin Bucer? First, we should remember that he was a reformer who diligently, and at times stubbornly, fought for unity in the church. This was a worthy goal. Members of the church should seek to unite, but that unity must be on the basis of the truth.
