At the time of the writing of this article we are in the middle of what is called the “Christmas Season”. Newscasters are heard proclaiming holiday truces in various trouble spots of the world, and bemoaning that this spirit of peace and joy cannot be with us all through the year. The Salvation Army bells are ringing, beckoning the 11 ½ month “Scrooges” to share now in the Christmas spirit. And recently I heard a minister of the Word bemoan the fact that now we have to return to our “drab...
