Christian Apology

We can speak of Christian apology. True, not in the sense commonly given to the word to-day. The word, apology, is but a translation of the Greek word, "apolo­gia". It is closely related to "apologetics" -- "apologet­ics" is apology as applied to the field of theological in­struction. However, I am in this essay not referring to a course of study, but to the calling of the people of God due to their position in the midst of the world. Chris­tian apology is our calling here below.
