Prof. Volbeda Jubilant

On the 25th of June, one Marinus Bouwman, a minister of the "Gereformeerde Kerk van Nieuwendam" was promoted at the Free University of Amsterdam to the degree of Doctor in Theology on the ground of a dissertation bearing the title, "Voetius over het gezag der synoden," that is, "Voetius on the authority of the synods."
