Parable of the Lost Sheep

In Luke 15:1–7, we find the parable of the lost sheep. The story goes like this: There was a shepherd who had one hundred sheep. However, one of the sheep foolishly got separated from the rest of the flock and was so lost that it could not find its own way back to the fold. When the shepherd realized this, he went searching for the lost sheep. Once he found it, he rejoiced greatly, so much that he got all his neighbors and friends together to celebrate the return of his lost sheep with him....
