This article by Don Doezema honors Ben Wigger's twenty-eight years of service as news editor of The Standard Bearer, the official publication of the Protestant Reformed Churches in America. It recounts Wigger's faithful stewardship of the "News From Our Churches" column, which was instituted by Rev. Herman Hoeksema in 1958 to foster unity among the denomination's congregations. The Standard Bearer, as you can tell from the Volume and Number on the front cover of this issue, is ninety years old. "News From Our Churches," one of its more popular rubrics, is younger.
