This article by Martyn McGeown and Rev. Angus Stewart critiques Dr. Harry Uprichard's tenure as 2005-2006 moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, arguing that despite his "Back to the Bible" campaign, the PCI continues to embrace unbiblical practices including women's ordination, higher criticism, Arminianism, and ecumenical compromise. The authors contend that the PCI has apostatized to such a degree that meaningful reformation is impossible and call for a return to Westminster Standards and faithful church discipline.
