In our former essay we attempted to point out what Pelagianism is. We quoted rather extensively from Shedd’s “History of Doctrine” to give a factual account of the erroneous teaching of Pelagius. So evil is this teaching that our fathers dare to call it the teaching that has come forth from hell.
