God’s Revelation in the Scriptures

The Scriptures are the Word of God. This expression implies three things. In the first place, the Bible is the Word of God because it was spoken by God. All Scripture, we believe, was given by inspiration of God. The Bible is the only book which can trace its origin directly to the Lord.
