It is June 21, 2008, and I am at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Poortinga in Dyer, Indiana   MHH:  Mr. Poortinga, where and when you were born? RP:  I was born in Munster, Indiana, not too far from here.  December 25, 1924. MHH:  A Christmas baby!
