Rev. Angus Stewart examines the definition and method of gospel preaching, arguing that certain approaches associated with modern Reformed theologians actually align more closely with John Wesley's Arminian theology than with historic Calvinism. The article uses Wesley's own statements on preaching to challenge contemporary assumptions about the relationship between Calvinistic doctrine and the free offer of the gospel.
