Situation Ethics

Question #25 I have had an ongoing debate with one of my teachers, about this one. If it is 2:00 am and your friend is lying bleeding on the street, and the only way to save him is to break into a nearby drug store and steal bandages, is this considered stealing? I thought so, but my teacher says it isn’t because his motive is good. I’m kind of against this whole situation ethics deal.
