Rev. Hanko is pastor of the Protestant Reformed Church of Lynden, Washington. Introduction The book of Proverbs is unique among all the different books of holy Scripture. Like Job, Psalms, Ecclesiastes, and Lamentations it is poetry, but its content is completely unlike that of any of the other poetical books.
