Grand Rapids, Michigan August 16, 1943 Dear Fellows: My last letter I wrote to you from Lincoln, Nebraska.  From there my way led to “Sunny California,” where I spend a few weeks of Vacation, enjoying the sunshine and the water of the Pacific.  There I met a few of our own boys, Gerald Bouwkamp, Louis Kikstra, Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
