The Devastation of Helene and Milton
“Helene” and “Milton”: names that were previously unfamiliar to us are now common. While many readers will not recall the next set of names due to their age, many middle-age and “more mature” adults well remember the names “Katrina” and “Wilma.” We are now very familiar with these names due to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the body that names hurricanes.
