Prepare Your Children for Persecution
Barry Gritters argues that Christian parents have a biblical responsibility to prepare their children spiritually and psychologically for future persecution, drawing on Jesus' explicit warnings and apostolic teachings about tribulation. While acknowledging that amillennial theology teaches this doctrine, Gritters contends that Western comfort has caused the church to forget or minimize this expectation, and calls for regular preaching and family instruction on eschatology to awaken spiritual vigilance in the covenant generations.
