The Wilderness

Having crossed the Red Sea, the children of Israel find themselves in the desert of Sinai. A consideration of the geography and natural features of the desert will result in a greater appreciation of the insurmount­able difficulties (insurmountable from the point of view of nature) besetting the wanderings of God's people.
