At our last synod -- I mean the synod that was held last June -- it was decided that the decision of Synod, 1950, concerning the Declaration was certainly legally adopted. Against this decision all the delegates from Classis West, except one of them registered a negative vote. And six of them were so strongly opposed to declaring that the action of Synod, 1950, in regard to the Declaration was perfectly legal, that they asked to have their vote recorded in the minutes.
