Psalter 113 — The Friend of the Poor

We turn this month to the only versification of Psalm 41 in the Psalter. David in this Psalm, as in many others, demonstrates that he is a type of Christ in that he befriends the weak and resists the attacks of enemies, including a betrayal by a friend.
