The Pure In Heart

"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8 What does it mean when we speak of purity in heart? In order to know that, we will have to know first of all what is meant by the Word of God when it speaks of the heart of man. In Proverbs 4:23 we read the admonition: "Keep thy heart with all diligence: for out of it are the issues of life." And Psalm 64:6 speaks of the heart as very deep. It shows us that the heart of man is the ethical spiritual center of his existence....
