Dr. Abraham Kuyper of the Nether­lands wrote a book entitled, “Three Small Foxes,” a title which was taken from Scripture, particularly from the Song of Solomon (2:15), that speaks of “the little foxes that spoil the vine”. The vine is, of course, the church. And these little foxes are evils that slink into the church under the cover of darkness to destroy the church.
