The third chapter of the book of Eccle­siastes in the Old Testament Scriptures says: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: . . . a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to keep silence and a time to speak. This and other passages of the word of God speak to us the same language as an old proverb that says, there is a time when silence is golden.
