Barry Gritters examines the importance of liturgical uniformity in Protestant Reformed denominational identity, arguing that just as the PRC values unity in doctrine and church government, it should similarly emphasize unity in the order of public worship. Drawing on Reformed historical practice, Gritters contends that increasing liturgical diversity across PRC congregations undermines denominational cohesion and warrants renewed attention to liturgical standards.
