Dear Editor: I would like to make a few remarks in regard to the article on “competitive sports” in the February issue of Beacon Lights. There are many statements therein with which I fully agree. Like, “there is a strong correlation between the development of our physical and mental facilities. A strong body does not necessarily produce a strong mind (John Calvin had a weak and sickly body; he suffered from malaria fever, rheumatism, gout and consumption, while he probably dies of gravel,...
