Deliverance (Isaiah 44:22)
Jacob-Israel-Jeshurun-Chosen. Deliverance is for a peculiar people. A people chosen by the Lord. Prepared by him. Called by him and bought with the blood of his Son Jesus Christ. In this verse we find a beautiful climax of the promise given in the first five verses of this chapter. It was the promise of deliverance for Israel in the captivity.
