Is There a Basis for Unity Between Roman Catholics and Evangelicals?

Recently a group of prominent evangelical leaders and conservative Roman Catholic scholars spent some eight months drafting a document which sets forth their views on unity and cooperation between Catholics and Evangelicals for the 21st century.
