The Sixth Commandment: Thou Shalt Not Kill

We are all, by nature, murderers. In Rom. 8:7 we read: Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”  Notice: the carnal mind, man as he is by nature, is enmity against God. This is what we are. Enmity against God characterizes our being. We do not merely kill or hate occasionally. We are enmity. And, we are not subject to the law of God, nei­ther indeed can be.
