Sword of the Spirit

“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” (Eph. 6:17)  As the world increases in wickedness around us, we must not sit back and watch the fight. Our calling is to take up our chief weapon, the sword of the Spirit. The Scriptures to which we have ready access are that sword, which is declared and revealed to us by the Spirit.
