Should We Give Tithes?

Every once in a while the matter of tithing is brought up in our circles. In this connection the un­dersigned received the following: “Is it my duty as a Christian to tithe? I realize that the New Testament does not tell us in so many words that we should give one-tenth of our income to the Lord, but rather that all we have belongs to the Lord and we should give as He has prospered us.
