The Calling to Preserve

In many different passages of the Bible and in many different ways God calls us, as His saints, to persevere. We are called to be faithful unto death, that we may receive the crown of life, (Revelation 2:10). We are to hold fast that which we have, that no man take our crown, (Revelation 3:11). As saints of God, we are called to give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip, (Hebrew 2:1). We are to show diligence unto the end, (Hebrews 6:11)....
